NOW HIRING! Full-Time Pottery Studio Technician and Shop Attendant 💪
We are adding to our creative team!
Tech Duties include:
- Carrying clay and trays up and down stairs (must be comfortable lifting a box weighing 45 lbs)
- Cleaning and more cleaning: Mopping floors, wiping down surfaces
- Processing the clayÂ
- Loading and unloading the kiln
Shop Duties include:
- Greeting customers at the door
- Selling pottery to customers
- Answering phone and email questions and registering customers for upcoming pottery classes
- Assisting our technicians and teachers with tending to potsÂ

Compensation: Compensation starts at $19 per hour and will be based on experience. Training will be provided.
Hours: Â Exact schedule to be discussed. Full-time May - August (Must be available weekendsÂ
This role has room for future growth and the opportunity to stay on after the summer. The right candidate will be trained in all the duties of working in an actively functioning pottery studio. Â
Skills Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Helpful and friendly demeanour
- Strong communication skillsÂ
- Multi task many projects
- Strong organisational skills in a studio work space
- A positive strong team player
- Attention to detail, self-starter, confident
- No previous experience in a pottery studio is required
- Ability to lift 45 lbs
- Excellent balance walking up and down stairs
- Able to climb ladders
